Pequannock High School Ice hockey team defeated Mountain Lakes Sunday night to win the Halvorsen Cup for the second time in three years. Lead by standout Justin Lacotre the Golden Panthers stormed back after falling behind 4 – 3 with four straight unanswered goals to win 7 -4. Congratulations to Seniors Sean Puttenvink, Justin Lacorte, Justin Ondrof and Kevin Walsh!

Congratulatiions to Team USA! Behind the brilliant goaltending of Ryan Miller they go on to defeat Canada 5-3 in the Olympic preliminary round. Maybe 1980 all over again?
Nathan Perrott posing for the cameras after winning his professional debut at the Blue Horizon in Philadelphia. Mark Puttenvink, Sean Puttenvink and Joe Grier worked his corner on helping Nathan garner his first victory. Nathan trained with Mark Puttenvink preparing for his fight making the transition from professional hockey to professional boxing a successful one.
